Soft pillowy-like landing to Jim’s South Street at the Philadelphia International Airport. If you are flying on American and land at the hub terminal C in Philadelphia, or if you’re at any concourse, I suggest you make a trip over here. At the time, Jim South Street had a fire and it was disheartening to know I couldn’t go there as repairs were being done. So when when I landed from Tampa, it immediately caught my eye that this was here. I was so surprised that I just had to get this cheesesteak in my body. Before the food review, let me just preface that I wish that Philadelphia would renovate this part of the airport, as it is one of the oldest. They need some serious renovations at terminal C as I’ve understood that the other terminals have been renovated already. Luckily, it was just before 11 o’clock in the morning for me to indulge on this incredible cheesesteak. The service was fast, and I got what ever drink I needed. I understood the uniqueness to their technique on adding the Wiz cheese onto the bread and on top of the steak and onions. I got my food within a few minutes of ordering. As I unwrapped this indulgent food specimen, it was already dripping juices all over the paper it was wrapped in as I dug in. I can understand the hype that’s behind Jim’s as one of the best cheesesteaks you can get in the city of Philadelphia. Granted, I grew up in the area, not knowing all the best cheesesteak spots in and around the city. This definitely gives me a greater preview on what the experience is really like at the South Street location. As I’m sure I will go back, this will definitely leave an impression on you whether you are arriving or departing from the Philadelphia International Airport.

Fresh, tasty, juicy, large cheesesteak! The bread is fresh, the beef is prepared to order, and the staff is super friendly. Don't know what else to say, it was awesome. Make your way to "C" terminal and you won't regret it.

Hear me out: I know it is an airport location, and the stardard for airport food is very low, but this was amazing. Meat was incredibly tasty, bread was moist and wonderful. I ordered it with american cheese and an extra of whiz. It was unbelievable. It is a bit of a messy bite so get lots of napkins and enjoy!
